We had a wood plank floor installed in the office in our house. It looked great except that the grout appeared to be shaded. It looked almost white in areas, where it was supposed to be medium gray (pewter). After looking at it for almost two months, I really thought that something needed to be done to correct the problem. The grout lines glared out at me.
I contacted Cory Matsushita who came out and confirmed that there was something wrong with the grout. Probably too much water in the mix, not mixed well enough or wiped clean too some after application. Cory said that he would make it right, and he did. The floor was acid washed and then one of the service technicians was out yesterday to stain and seal the grout with a Mapei colorant/sealer. Now, 24 hours later, the floor looks great. Thank you Cory, for taking care of this for me and making me one happy customer.
