I wanted to use a local flooring installer to put in some hardwood floors where we previously had carpet. From the initial call to set up the consultation to the post-install follow-up call, everything was done quickly and professionally. They worked with my timeline and recommended a nice hardwood that met not only my needs but my request for a quick turnaround. The install was done in one day, from 9 am to about 6 pm (I did have only one small space done - maybe a 14x12 space). They took all of the old carpet and such so we did not have to deal with its disposal. The cost was very fair for the service, in my opinion. Overall a great experience! I would highly recommend!

I have used, Flooring RVA for my last two projects and I've been happy with both. The customer service and the service itself were awesome. Their employees are professional and courteous ,most of all they're very neat and tidy. Both projects were handled with respect to my home and my time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

This company and every one of their staff that worked with us are wonderful to do business with. They patiently let us take home many samples to consider, were thorough in their descriptions of the products and sent an excellent installation crew. We are very pleased with our floor and highly recommend Flooring RVA!

We picked out our floor after looking at several different samples. The sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful.The installation was scheduled quickly and done on time.

I had a pretty great experience with the guys over at Flooring RVA. Our original sales consultant was very knowledgeable and I felt like steered us in the direction that was best for what we were looking for and not what was most expensive. They allowed us to take home a large sample and upon returning it I had a seamless process of purchasing everything I needed. I would recommend them to anyone looking into flooring.

We recently had flooring & carpet installed that was purchased from Flooring RVA. I cannot express how happy we are from the beginning of making our choices through help and advice from Robert all the way through to the install. The quality of products are well worth the money spent! We were very impressed with the installers of both the vinyl planking and the carpet as they all were very professional and detail oriented while at my home. THANKS AGAIN FLOORING RVA!!!

Let me tell you what good customer service is. Opening your showroom, when it's closed on a Sunday, to a stranger you've never worked with, just so he can see some samples of carpet. That is the kind of service you get at flooring RVA. After striking out with 3 other flooring companies who couldn't meet my deadline, flooring RVA got me on an install schedule within a week. The installer, Kevin, was professional, courteous, and busted his tail. Job well done.

My RVA flooring experience was great from start to finish. I needed to have my entire home carpeted and within a weeks time and they were able to make it happen. And the guys that did the installation did a great job and in a more then reasonable account of time. Can't say enough great things about RVA

This company is by far the best flooring business in the Richmond (VA) metro area! Robert Fletcher the owner came out personally to meet with me to discuss what I needed. He came out the same day in fact right away as we were in a time crunch and put something together that was perfect. Kevin the installer was unbelievable! He and his assistant TT worked their tails off in the demo work and the install of the new material. Kevin found a couple of subfloor issues that he could have not mentioned but he brought it to me attention and made a recommendation on how to deal with it. We took his advice and proceeded along and although it took a little more of his time he kept the project right on schedule.
If you don't consider using Robert and Flooring RVA you are making a huge mistake. Their pricing is competitive and their service is a cut above. Thank you Robert and everyone who works at Flooring RVA! You are the best in town!!!

Hands down best customer service! I told them what I wanted, found a material for the look I was going for and scheduled the flooring all over the phone. Even though I needed the job done in a hurry they still accomadated me. The floors look and feel amazing!

If you need flooring in Richmond, check out Flooring RVA. I can't say enough good things about them. First of all, they had originally told us our project would take 5 days, and they finished in 3! That included all new flooring down stairs, all new carpet upstairs, and even demo and removal of about 300sf of old tile and particle board. Second, and more importantly, their crew and staff were great. Everyone was very professional, very courteous and respectful of our home, and the work is prefect.
The only feedback for improvement would be to have someone contact the client a day or two before the project starts, just to let them know what time to expect the crews. The first day of the project we were left guessing as to what time people would be showing up at our house.

RVA flooring just completed an excellent job for me with carpet, hardwood floor install and refinishing and bathroom demolition and new tile install. Robert and Amber were awesome to work with. Amber coordinated the entire project and was accessible every time I had a question. Everything went as scheduled and the results were better than I even expected.

We were very pleased with the measurement appointment, installation & sales process. Our floors are beautiful! The final billing process seemed a little chaotic on their end communication wise, but overall I highly suggest this company. Great workmanship.

Can’t thank Flooring RVA enough, moving into a new house we were under the gun to get job done in a 2 week window. Ordering tile and scheduling work to be done was a breeze with Flooring RVA. I had a time crunch with getting the flooring done on our new home before our moving shipment arrived. Flooring RVA jumped in and made it happen! They worked extra hard to meet our needs and supply the type of flooring we wanted. It turned out amazing! We had a great experience with Flooring RVA! We had three different estimates for new padding and carpet and for financial reasons needed to go with the lowest cost. Elijah and Robert worked with us and did a price match. Not only that but they still gave us the better quality padding for the same price. The install was done 3hrs early. Robert also followed up when the job was done. Great customer experience all the way around. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Flooring RVA! We had three different estimates for new padding and carpet and for financial reasons needed to go with the lowest cost. Elijah and Robert worked with us and did a price match. Not only that but they still gave us the better quality padding for the same price. The install was done 3hrs early. Robert also followed up when the job was done. Great customer experience all the way around. Highly recommend!

Trying to figure out how to create a beautiful home is one thing, but I had no ideas that figuring out how to redo our floors was going to be so difficult. I honestly think I spent hours a day for weeks looking at what I thought would make my house look great but then I started shopping and the amount of choices were definitely very overwhelming, and expensive, way more then I thought it would cost.
I have a friend that referred me to Robert at Flooring RVA and literally he was out the next day doing measurement and in the showroom the next.
Robert made this experience so easy and not overwhelming at all, and worked with our budget to make our home become our dream home. We were able to do a beautiful tile in our Kitchen, Refinished our original hardwood floors and installed new on our living room.
I honestly believe this is the best flooring company in Richmond in all aspects, especially customer service. I will definitely refer them and use them for future projects.

FlooringRVA provided excellent and swift carpet installation and great customer service. The installers just finished our carpet today and we couldn't be happier with the results. They even finished faster than anticipated. On the front end, a sales representative was able to come to our house within one day from when we first went into the store to bring carpet samples and measure. I highly recommend FlooringRVA!

Flooring RVA made all my dreams come true! They replaced our downstairs carpet with luxury vinyl planks. They are beautiful and so easy to clean, which is a necessity with four small kids. My husband and I were purchasing a new home, previously owned by indoor smokers and needed all the carpeting removed as well as the wood downstairs refinshed to match the stain we had selected. I arrived at FlooringRVA just before closing one night ready to purchase the tile I needed to install in my bathroom the next day. Unfortunately, the tile I chose was not available and would have to be ordered. Before I could leave, the manager quickly stepped in with a solution that allowed me to walk away with two boxes of the tile from an oversupply he had in the back. It was a pleasure to work with flooring rva. Everyone who I spoke to was very nice and helpful. There was an issue with having to reschedule to come by the house to measure, but it was resolved the same day and someone else was sent to complete the measurements. Carpet was installed in 1 day and the man who installed the rugs was very nice. I would definitely choose flooring rva in the future if we need anything else. Thank you guys.

I am writing only because my choice to go with Flooring RVA was based on the positive reviews google and yelp. I wanted to make sure folks looking at their options knew the good and the bad. First, everyone at Flooring RVA was great to deal with and very responsive. We were also very pleased with the results. Our floors look very nice, and we were very happy with their work. We did have some unexpected delays in the installation of our floors that were frustrating. The first delay was our fault because we decided after installation began that the flooring choice was not the right one, so we had to get new flooring delivered. That may have been somewhat attributable to an old sample in the showroom that we based our decision on, but we took responsibility for that decision. The second delay happened because Flooring RVA purchased the wrong amount of flooring, so we had to wait several additional days for more to be delivered and then get installed (when there were some additional delays). There were several occasions when we were given an expected completion date that was missed and pushed back even further. Again, we were happy with their work and enjoyed working with them but wanted to make sure folks had the whole picture.

My house had to be taken off the market, due to my floors buckling. They were not originally installed by Flooring RVA . . . they were installed by another company over 11 years ago.
Elijah came to assess the issue with my wood flooring that had buckled . . .. . . . he assessed the situation . . . was professional. He set up an appointment for later the same day to have a technician come in to solution the problem. Rey came in, discussed the various options with me. He fixed the issue within an hour. He was GREAT!!!! My house was put back on the market the very next day!!! Thank you Flooring RVA!!!

This is my second experience with FlooringRVA. I first had hardwood flooring installed by them (see my review on Yelp) and back in January 2018 I picked out and had carpet installed. It’s now June so I’ve had time to settle in with my carpet and wanted to provide a review of the experience.
I read lots of reviews and research things to death before I make a decision so I don’t give people a high rating just to be “nice”. I also consider myself to be be a little hard to please because I’m used to doing a lot of work on my home myself and I have a high standard of quality while being thrifty. That being said, I shopped around a few quotes and came back to FlooringRVA. Long story short...I felt the price I paid for what I wanted was spot on. I had a good experience with the two man crew that came to install the carpet and padding. And 6 months later things are still meeting my expectations.
Robert, the owner, was the real reason behind going with FlooringRVA a second time. He personally came to measure and offer suggestions. I preferred to text and Robert made himself available at all times throughout the day when I had questions. I didn’t always expect an immediate response but one was always received. I could tell he and his staff were committed to my being satisfied throughout every step in the process and I couldn’t find that level of customer focus with any other competitor.

Great job done by Flooring RVA!!!! We had a kitchen and two bathroom floors installed by Flooring RVA and the whole experience went extremely well and smoothly. The price was very reasonable and all of our questions were answered completely at each stage of the process. From working with our salesman Jonathan, the skilled installers Brad, T.C. and Bryan plus the extremely dedicated work of their Operations Manager Rey Salmon it was wonderful. Tremendous customer service and professionalism from everyone. Jonathan was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to be sure we were comfortable with our purchase. Easy to talk to and work with. He said it would be a turnkey job and it surely was; no work was required from us. Brad, T.C. and Brian worked fast and did a super job of putting down the floors all in a single day. They cleaned up as they went along and minimized the household disruption. Rey Salmon was very dedicated in reviewing the installation and making sure that our household was back to exactly the way it was before the installation. Flooring RVA went above and beyond to ensure our carpet was installed in a quality and timely manner. We closed on a house on Thursday and Flooring RVA was able to get carpet ordered and installed in less than 2 weeks. We were given quotes from other flooring retailers to include other local organizations and some big box stores all over Richmond that had a 3-5 week lag time. Flooring RVA not only beat the lag time but also had very competitive pricing. Robert and his team made it happen and the follow through was impeccable. When we were looking for a company to put carpeting in our house we weren't sure where to turn. So we hit up Google, the first thing that popped up was flooring RVA. So we went there from the moment we walked in we were agreed it and treat it like we are what matter. Customer service was amazing totally out of this world Above & Beyond we could have expected. We got what we want it at a price that couldn't be beat anywhere else. Installation was within days of us signing the contract and the installers were a professional polite and true men of their craft. The carpet looks great it feels great and if we ever need anything done again we will be sure to call Robert and the crew at flooring RVA.

I contacted five contractors regarding the tiling of my kitchen and bathroom floors. Some were too expensive, some rubbed me the wrong way, some flat out refused to do a specific part of the job I requested, telling me it wasn’t possible. When I determined that all five were a “no”, I got really discouraged about my plan. Finally I reached out to Flooring RVA as a last ditch effort. They had the product we wanted at a price we were comfortable with and were available to install on the days we chose. They were even able to problem solve the part of the job that other contractors simply refused to take on. Now that the job is finished, it’s beautiful and I’m confident it has added value to our home. I would definitely work with Robert again on future projects and encourage others to do the same.

Excellent! We hired Flooring RVA to replace all of the carpet in our house. We talked to four companies before making a decision. Flooring RVA was prompt with giving us a professional estimate, and easy to work with from the start. We were given an excellent, affordable option for carpet that looks great in our home. The other companies took several days to give us estimates, even though they said they would have them ready that day. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. Start to finish, it took them only 5.5 hours to install carpet in four bedrooms, a living room, five closets, hallway and stairs. That included disassembling beds and moving furniture, then moving furniture back and reassembling beds. They made it look easy, and we love the way our house looks. Thank you, Flooring RVA!

His staff is amazing as Johnathan was the one that helped me select the right carpet and came and measured our space. He made the process super easy and efficient. We had an awesome experience with Flooring RVA. Robert was able to get the old carpet out of the house before the entire interior was painted, which he contracted to get done, and installed carpet in the whole house within a weeks time. It was great!! We were able to put the house on the market fast and got a contract in three days because the house looked fantastic inside. Highly recommend Flooring RVA!!!

FlooringRVA was so wonderful to work with! When I called to get a quote they came to my house and measured, then we went into the showroom and picked out our carpet. We were under budget! They were also ready to install our carpet the next week and we had to push them back because we weren't quite ready. Our installers were really friendly and professional! I highly recommend them! Our upstairs has been transformed!

I highly recommend Flooring RVA. They moved the furniture, took up the carpet in three bedrooms and installed flooring that matched the existing flooring in my hallway. Bona refinisher was then applied to the hallway to match the luster of the new floors. A big shout out to David and Vince, the installers, who were very professional. I am hoping to have the fourth bedroom done in the fall. A great local company with a lot of attention to detail. I love my new floors!

This was one of the Best companies I have worked with when remodeling or doing any type of construction or flooring job. Robert, the owner, not only left a vmail but also a text within 24 hours of leaving him a voicemail for an estimate. He continued to follow up with me on any questions I had for him. He had two of his best guys out here within the week. They were both courteous , knowledgeable and proficient. Robert also followed up with me himself that evening after job was done. They maybe a fairly new company but from beginning to end I would choose them and recommend them to anyone in a heart beat!

Trying to figure out how to create a beautiful home is one thing, but I had no ideas that figuring out how to redo our floors was going to be so difficult. I honestly think I spent hours a day for weeks looking at what I thought would make my house look great but then I started shopping and the amount of choices were definitely very overwhelming, and expensive, way more then I thought it would cost.
I have a friend that referred me to Robert at Flooring RVA and literally he was out the next day doing measurement and in the showroom the next.
Robert made this experience so easy and not overwhelming at all, and worked with our budget to make our home become our dream home. We were able to do a beautiful tile in our Kitchen, Refinished our original hardwood floors and installed new on our living room.
I honestly believe this is the best flooring company in Richmond in all aspects, especially customer service. I will definitely refer them and use them for future projects.

Im very excited and happy with the results of my floors!! If any mishaps or misunserstandings, it will be fix without a doubt! What I'm more happy about is the owner, Robert, he is considerate and attentive to customer's needs, and will respond directly to you if you have any questions or concerns which makes a huge difference! He'll even follow-up with you to see how your floor is going. I simply recommend this company in comparison to other many many companies I've researched and asked quotes for, even from the big department stores or chain companies that didn't seem even when giving a quotes in person that feeling of genuinity alone makes a difference!! If you invest your money into something, you need companies with a genuine approach and is attentive to your needs as a customer!

We recently needed a lot of work done to a house we purchased & weren't sure where to go. We found Flooring RVA on Google with a lot of positive reviews so scheduled an appointment with their online submission form. Within 24 hours the owner, Robert Fletcher, reached out to us to schedule the appointment. During the entire process Robert communicated well, offered great design ideas & followed up when everything was completed. The prices for both materials and labor were less than we found in 2 other places. They refinished hardwood floors in our downstairs & renovated our master bathroom with a new tile shower. The quality of work is amazing. Our hardwood floors were old, worn & had scratches everywhere. When the crews wrapped up it looked like we had new hardwood flooring installed. Our master bathroom renovation turned out flawless. The tile shower is stunning with a recessed shampoo niche, custom made bench and his & her shower heads. The installation crews were professional & did great work. We give Flooring RVA 5 Stars and highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys were absolutely, positively incredible. I called them on a Sunday (and somebody answered!) hoping to get carpet installed by the end of the week and it actually happened!!! (I always try even when I think something is impossible, and despite the threat of a hurricane my carpet was installed by the following Friday. INCREDIBLE!!!)
Jonathan was extremely patient and kind with me even though I was probably driving him crazy with questions. The installers were incredibly kind and respectful and did an AMAZING job!!!
They even added padding underneath my commercial grade carpet - this is going to make a HUGE, positive difference for practitioners who stand all day long!
Long story short - don't call anywhere else, just go with these guys. Oh yeah, the price was GREAT, too!!!!

They did an amazing job on two projects for me recently, I had Flooring RVA refinish the hardwood floors of my 1960's rental home in Forest Hill and they exceeded my expectations. I mean it turned out Perfect, they also put down carpet in my family room. We are in the process of updating our home for sale and we needed some old carpet removed to expose our nice finished hard wood floors. We were in a bit of a rush as our realtor is scheduled to take pictures and needed the job to get done asap. We first contacted one of the larger companies here in Richmond. Their response was "we don't do this anymore and you should locate a "handy man" to pull up your old carpet." We wanted a true floor expert as we have very nice hard wood floors and did not want just anyone pulling up our carpet......it might very well require refinishing the hard wood. This is when we turned to Flooring RVA. Robert and his team were willing to help us out. We called many companies the day after thanksgiving and many wanted us to wait a week or so. Flooring RVA came to the rescue. Within a few hours they came and installed our new carpet. They did a fabulous job. Thank You so much for your customer service and excellent service.

I called three flooring companies to get a quote to get my hardwoods refinished and new hardwood laid in the kitchen. Robert responded immediately and was at my house in a few days to take a look and give me a quote. He quoted me right in the house before he left. The install was set up quickly. The floors look AMAZING! The installers did a first class job with making everything match nicely and the finishing details are great! I couldn't be more pleased! Great service, Great price! Robert's crew was punctual, polite and worked hard from start to finish. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. It shows. Robert called me the evening it was complete to ask how everything was, I was honest and told him I am the sort of person who will always find something wrong with contracted jobs around the house, but NOT this time! I told him they did a phenomenal job and I am so happy! They took their time and did not rush, but they worked hard. They definitely have a lot of experience in what they do. They are trustworthy and very respectful. They cleaned and vacuumed their way out. I have recommended Flooring RVA to everyone. I chose flooring RVA because they were able to beat my Lowe's quote by over $2500 and they were $1200 less than Empire! No skimping in quality of material or workmanship though. I wanted a Berber look on stairs and throughout my 2nd floor, it was done in a timely manner and they were able to have the exact carpet I wanted available and ready to install in just 2 days! The first 2 things people see when they enter your home are your walls and your floor. I strongly suggest you contact Robert for a great deal and quality work!

Robert from Flooring RVA and his crew installed our carpeting yesterday and we couldn't be more pleased. Robert went out of his way to have the installation meet our demanding schedule and we very grateful. The carpet is beautiful and was expertly installed. They moved ALL the furniture and put it back where it started when they were done. The big box store would only move the lighter pieces, wanting us to move the rest. Robert was very kind, professional, and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend Flooring RVA!
