I first want to say that I was very skeptical on going with Luna when I read some of the reviews, but I am extremely happy that I decided to go ahead with my flooring project. My salesman and customer service made me feel comfortable with my decision and answered all questions and concerns that I had. I replaced 3000 sq. ft. of floors in my home and I did not have one issue. The installers did an excellent job and if they noticed anything that I should be aware of they brought it to my attention. I am very happy with my purchase from Luna.

Today Oscar and Manny with Luna came to lay carpet and new flooring in our condo. It was supposed to be a 2 day job, they finished the job in 1 without cutting any corners. They were knowledgeable of condo rules and respectful of them - including vacuum the hall and elevator before they left. They answered my questions then got right to work. The carpet and flooring looks fantastic! I am very happy and would definitely recommend working with Heather, the Luna Mgr who helped me select the right products. Overall costumer service was great. She tried very hard to find the sample I wanted, but she could order it. She came out and took all measurements the next day. Very quick turnaround on quote and all. Our installer was fantastic, professional, personable, and treats the job like he would his own floor. He set a very high standard.

Purchased carpet for a basement I recently finished. Caesar's install work was TOP NOTCH. I've got an eye for perfection and they surpassed even my expectations. I asked him to carpet the stairs in a certain way which took a bit more time, he didn't complain, just did it and did it perfectly. Their pricing on the carpet was great as well. I was referred to Larry Melendez the General Manager of the Deerfield location by my neice who had worked with Larry the previous month. Larry was very professional and helped advise my wife and I to the perfect carpeting for our needs. FYI, I was in the carpeting business years ago and much has changed in regards of material and construction. His measurements were spot on with very little waste, ie; 3 peices about 18"x 24". This installers were very polite and very careful moving furniture around. They did a fantastic job installing the carpet with the seamed areas invisible. They cleaned up everything and took all the old carpet and pad with them ( side note, after taking up the old carpet which was 25 years old, they swept up the concrete floor and vacuumed up any debris and dust prior to new install.) I highly recommend Larry and his incredible crew at Luna in Deerfield IL. I cant possibly express how pleased we we're from start to finish. Thank you Larry....Bravo!

After my basement flooded, I needed a covering that was low to no maintenance and was durable. Ken suggested vinyl flooring that looked like wood planks. The installation was perfect and my new floor looks great. From sale to service, excellent job all around.

Expensive, no doubt. However the fact that they haul away old flooring/ carpet, and for us even the old toilets- is very convenient. They also add on new shoe at the base of your existing trim. I am very satisfied with their work. They sent us two outstanding contractors - Albert and Andy, who were real gentlemen. They were not just flooring installers they actually were real tradesmen who knew what they were doing. Tiffany was an awesome sales rep!! Very straightforward awesome to have met and do business with her. Just a few tips to everyone. There may be additional things under your current floor the installers may have to repair or add. Such as, sub flooring and so on. This is extra and can be very pricey as well. In our case we did not have the proper sub flooring under our old tile, and we did not know this until they came to install it. That ran us an extra $1,400, so just keep in mind you may or may not have more to spend the day of install. It’s not a hidden gimmick, it’s just something to keep in mind. Also depending on how much your having done, it may take more than one day to do the job , which is understandable; just something we didn’t realize. It may seem like only a room or two but the work can be involved so make sure you have reasonable expectations. Yes I highly recommend Luna for Vinyl flooring. Great product and great service!!

When I began my search for hardwood floors for my entire first floor, I knew the exact color and style I wanted. I also knew how much I wanted to spend. I went from store to store and could not find the exact color anywhere. I was surprised that places like Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators had such limited in store displays. You can go online to view more, but this is not a purchase anyone wants to make looking at an online sample. I stopped at Luna and I was amazed at the number of options. I found several samples right away that had potential, but I was skeptical that Luna’s final installed costs would not fit within my budget. Within days they came out to measure, calculated a price, then applied a couple promotional discounts, and the result was a floor I liked and a price that fit my budget. I really appreciated how they looked at every aspect of my installation to provide a detailed estimate. It is not a quick process to come up with the price, but nobody wants to get hit with extra charges later when the installer comes on site and discovers additional work is required. My estimate included removal & disposal of existing flooring & baseboards, moving of appliances in the kitchen, removal and reset of sink & toilet in bathroom, and a section of the floor that needed to be glued. Because they took the time to review these details upfront, there was no hidden costs or extra charges added later. The highest ratings go to the installers. I can’t say enough about the quality of their workmanship. These guys are experienced, and the end-result shows it. Thank you everyone at Luna for doing such a good job.

I'm giving 5 stars for installation. I was very pleased with the installation. Guys were extremely polite, and exceptionally hard working. Very clean. They left my room looking beautiful. Marco is one of two guys, before they left made sure to look into every detail, and made sure we were completely happy and satisfied with our installation experience.

This is the place for personalized service. I really appreciate the individual attention. This store was easy to work with and accommodating, carpet looks great and is super plush. Installation went long as there was only one contractor working it, but everything was cleaned up afterwards and it looks like a great job!

Bought wool carpet, installed, and am pleased with the process and results. I have a small one bedroom condo that has too much furniture. I paid extra, within reason, to have help moving the heavier furniture. When I was comparing carpets they took the rolls of carpet down so I could see it better. The installers arrived on time, worked throughout the day and put the furniture back. I am satisfied with the price and quality of the carpet and would recommend Metro to others. This appears to be a family owned and operated retailer who intends to satisfy customers. What more could one ask?

We absolutely love our new carpet. Chuck Whelpley and the Luna team did a great job installing the carpet. We ordered on a Sunday and the carpet was installed just a few days later. Home Depot would have been weeks later and I know the carpet would not have been the same quality. We will be ordering more carpet from Luna soon to do our upstairs.

After years of seeing the Luna ads on TV, I now understand why they have been successful in the Chicago area. They just do carpet and flooring, so they do it well and have their own installers. We had water damage in our house and decided to finally replace the original carpet in our home. My wife and I went to the home improvement stores, but my take is they really don’t specifically focus on carpeting and the selection is limited. If you haven’t replaced carpet, it involves getting everything on your floors moved out of the way (into the basement, storage or other rooms) and it is a daunting task. We went into the Luna store in Deerfield and immediately Ken Bura was able to ask the right questions and help us navigate through a huge selection of carpet options. Smartstrand is a new DuPont carpet that is unbelievably resistant to stains and essentially the successor to “Stainmaster,” which was the gold standard in the industry for years. Ken was able to narrow or selection quickly and gave us a sample board to take home. Once we made our choice, with a pet-resistant pad and plush carpet, Ken took care of everything. What was surprising to me was the final cost was $2,000 less than what we priced at all the other stores. The installation was fantastic. That is all those installers do and they even moved our bed and side tables to another room and back so we were able to sleep in our own bed that night. The installation was clean and the guys were great. In general, I like to buy services from local companies that focus on one thing and have 15-30 years in the business.(you wouldn’t go to a generalist for knee replacement). If you are looking at a decision on carpet, I strongly recommend Luna and ask for Ken.

Last week we had LUNA install our floors and they look really nice. We went to the Luna in Schaumburg to look at what they had. They do have a lot. Everything went really well. The installers were great, and Mark in the showroom was very helpful. I would have no problems recommending Luna. I would suggest to use the stores. They have a lot to choose from and much bigger samples than other places we went.
